Christian Dior – Black coat in alpaca and wool, with CD laurel buttons

Deep black, a rounded collar, and the sparkle of gold buttons: this Christian Dior coat combines a understated silhouette with a fabric full of character. Its blend of 67% alpaca and 33% wool offers a fluffy texture, accentuated by the detailing at the bottom of the coat. The lining is 100% cupro.

The original buttons, adorned with the initials “CD” surrounded by a laurel wreath and signed on the back, add a luxurious touch to the overall look. The rounded collar softens the silhouette and makes it versatile enough to wear over a dress or with pants and a fine knit.

Dated to the 1980s–1990s based on information gathered about the garment, this piece was imported from Japan. It is described as part of the Christian Dior line produced under a Japanese license and manufactured in Japan. Its label reads “Christian Dior – Prêt-à-porter – Export Model.”

Size indicated: M, loose fit. Refer to the measurements to assess the drape and compare them to those of a coat that fits you well.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The fur is slightly raised in some places, but it’s not very noticeable. The buttons are original and signed on the back.

Care: Do not wash with water; do not bleach. Iron on medium heat. Dry clean only.
