Marni sleeveless top with abstract floral print — 100% viscose, 100% silk lining, back zip, Size 42 Made in Italy. A top from the Milanese house of Marni (founded in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni), from the founder's creative era. Abstract floral print with vibrant contrasts — sky blue, yellow, burgundy, and black on a deep plum background. 100% viscose exterior for a fluid and textured drape, 100% silk lining for an incomparably soft feel against the skin. Discreet zip at the back.

History

Founded in Milan in 1994 by Consuelo Castiglioni and her husband Gianni, Marni immediately established itself as a beacon of intellectual, bohemian, and deeply artistic chic—a stark contrast to the strict minimalism of the 90s or the glitz of certain major Italian brands. Under Consuelo's creative direction, the house developed a unique visual language: botanical and abstract prints, unexpected color palettes, and noble materials assembled with an almost painterly freedom. Every Marni piece from this era is as much a work of art as it is a garment. This top, with its vibrant abstract floral print and silk lining, is representative of the house's golden age, before its acquisition by the OTB group in 2021.

2010s (mid/late) – Italy (Milan, Marni Group SRL) The model reference (TTMAT29U00TV457) and the typography of the label evoke Marni's ready-to-wear collections from the modern period, under the creative direction of Consuelo Castiglioni, before the house was acquired by the OTB group at the end of 2021. Made in Italy, this top benefits from the expertise of high-end Milanese workshops, guaranteeing the quality of manufacture and the noble materials—outer viscose and silk lining—characteristic of Marni's production during this era.

Status

Excellent, like new condition. No defects to report—no stains, snags, or discoloration. The viscose is intact, and the silk lining is perfectly preserved. The back zipper works perfectly. Clean and ready-to-wear item.
